NWO has awarded an ENW-Klein grant (successor of CW ECHO and FOM Project ruimte) for the project ‘Optical control over the blinking behavior of colloidal quantum dots’ to dr. Freddy Rabouw. The project aims at developing a new method for super resolution fluorescence microscopy with colloidal quantum dot labels. This method relies on switching the labels on and off, which the researchers will achieve with a two-pulse two-color laser excitation scheme.
