I recently finished my PhD (cum laude) in the group of Prof. Dr. Alfons van Blaaderen (Soft Condensed Matter, Debye Institute for Nanomaterials science).

My project was focused on the self-assembly of colloidal suspensions in external fields and was part of the Industrial Partnership Program of the Materials Innovation Institute (M2i) and the Foundation for Fundamental Research on Matter (FOM). I mostly worked on suspensions of silica rods and studied  their self-assembly in real-space using 3D confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM).

Currently, I’m finishing a number of projects and looking for new opportunities.
